Our Entafarma supply and purchasing team was actively involved in the implementation of the StockM system, so it was important for us to understand how the system works. The functionality of the system, ease of use, simplicity and transparency are also important. Employees like the first StockM screen, which lists the tasks everyone has to complete each day in order not to forget and get the tasks done correctly. The fact that the system automatically checks all items and proposes to change the stock level only to selected items saves a lot of employee time. It also automatically forms purchase orders for suppliers according to a set schedule, shows overdue orders and draws attention to other situations that require attention and resolution of the employee.

We decided to implement the StockM system because we wanted to automate the ordering process and manage inventory more efficiently: to optimize the level of inventory and at the same time ensure that we do not run out of goods.

There are IT companies that develop specialized stock management solutions without getting a deeper insight into the customer’s situation, but only by doing what the customer comes up with improvising. Working with StockM inventory and assortment management system and interacting with the system developers, the stock management module PROMO2 has been improved and released, taking into account our suggestions. The system has become more flexible, with new system capabilities emerging in addition to the former useful features. Various problems and uncertainties arose at the beginning of the work with the Promo module. It was quite difficult to switch to another management style because previously, we were used to working the old-fashioned way. It was difficult to master the Promo and Period modules – we had to change the work style, thinking and learn to trust the system, although we were used to checking the data regularly. Of course, we still have a lot of work to do, “there is no limit to perfection”. But now the direction of movement is clear because the algorithms are obvious indeed.
